How To Find the Wetsuit in Critter Cove

Critter Cove is an island cultivation, community-building game about the simple pleasures in life. However, the charm of Critter Cove conceals a secret to unlocking its full potential-the ocean. To truly unlock the potential Critter Cove has to offer, you will need to take to the watery depths. This guide will walk you through how you can gain access to that highly coveted wetsuit that will grant passage into an underwater world.

How to Find the Wetsuit in Critter Cove

To get the blueprint of the wetsuit, you'll have to finish Rigs O'Malley's quest. This involves creating a Blast Charge for him and then proceeding with recovery until he finds the blueprint. Once the blueprint is recovered, head back to Rigs O'Malley and exchange it with him in return for 20 rubbers. You will now be able to create the wetsuit from your clothier shop.

Help Rigs O'Malley

To get the blueprint for the wetsuit, first head to Rigs O'Malley's outpost, which is located in the very south of the map. Upon arriving there, have a word with Rigs O'Malley, who will ask you to help him by fixing his stairs.

For this, you'll need three parts, which consist of a Simple Motor, Gear and a Metal Pipe. You can save yourself some time by bringing three of these with you if you don't want to keep wasting time going back and forth. If you don't have the required amount of motors, go underwater directly under the rig.

Oncethe staircase is repaired, Rigs O'Malley will give you a lesson in how underwater plants are farmed. Unfortunately, you are still going to have to apply these teachings yourself. Dive down beneath the rig and destroy eight underwater planters. If you can't find eight, simply log off and come back later - they will respawn.

By crafting eight Underwater Planters you will automatically know how to make a Blast Charge.

Return to Rigs O'Malley, who can finally fulfill his dream of becoming an Oil trader.

Do not proceed until you are well stocked up enough to craft 20 rubber, the material the quest requires you to obtain. This is purchased from oil, and if you're running low on either now is the time to restock.

How To Craft a Blast Charge

Crafting a Blast Charge requires the following items: 

3 Electronic Parts

1 Oil

1 Broken Clock

You get Electronic Parts by breaking electronic machines that exist inside structures in Sunken Ruin. Oil can be purchased from Rigs. The Broken Clocks are rarer and exist inside Sunken Ruins, usually attached to the walls of buildings.

With the materials in hand, craft the Blast Charge in a flash by pressing "K." With the Blast Charge in your possession, head towards the white northernmost building and enter it from the west side.

Go down the stairs twice and locate a door requiring a Blast Charge. Go to the door and interact to open it; inside will be the blueprint.

Get the blueprint and return it to the shopkeeper for the completion of the quest; this will unlock the wetsuit.

Return to the Quest Giver

Returning to the quest giver with the blueprint, you get a reward, but they won't have materials available for making the wetsuit-that's your part.

You will have to give them 20 rubber. You can make it in the kiln or scavenge for it. Sometimes on the islands, if you are quite lucky, you might dig it up.

After giving them 20 rubber, the well-deserved wetsuit shall be yours. The most important thing that will save you from the depths of the sea and enable you to swim in it without health loss.
