Save File Location in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is a triumphant sequel, and quite easily one of the best releases from this year so far. It's a real showcase of just how far the studio has come with the Swarm Engine, which is effortlessly capable of handling hundreds of enemies on-screen at any one time. On PC, meanwhile, players will have a slew of options made available to them, and there's Steam Cloud functionality should users want to easily sync their saves across platforms. However, if you want to have a local copy of your progress, here is the location on PC.

Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 Save File Location

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 save files are located via the following directory on PC:

C:\\Users[YOUR USERNAME]\\AppData\\Local\\Saber\\Space Marine 2\\storage\\steam\\user[STEAM ID]

All game save data is located in a folder with a name representing your Steam ID. I recommend making a backup of the entire "Space Marine 2" folder for safety's sake.

To quickly open your save files, you'll need to utilize the Run command on Windows. To access Run, you hold down the Windows and R keys together.

From here, you take the following address and paste it into the Run dialogue:

Does Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 Have Steam Cloud Support?

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 does feature Steam Cloud support on PC, meaning it will let you pick up exactly where you left off on another device. We strongly recommend making sure this is activated, even on a poor internet connection.

How to Enable Steam Cloud:

Open Steam and head to your library.

Right-click on Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 and click on Properties.
