The darkness of Fallout London does not let one explore. This page explains how to brighten one's view and find the torch.

The problem with dark locations and poor visibility

Fallout London is very dark, and it is a significant problem for players. Moreover, it makes it pretty hard to explore the surface world during the night and explore interiors without light sources due to the very poor visibility. Quite surprisingly, there does not appear to be a brightness setting option anywhere within this mod. In fact, they are forced to increase the brightness manually through their monitors, TV, or through the settings of their graphics cards. Bizarrely, using beds or mattresses also helps in skipping the night, but it is an inconvenient workaround. The problem badly affects the game-play experience since it causes breaks in the immersion and progress of the game.

How do I use torch?

Early on in the "Broken Angel" quest, you'll come across one of the more important tools to use when traversing this underground labyrinth: a torch. This important item can be found next to the lifeless body of a scientist and is equipped from the Apparel tab before being turned on by simply hitting TAB. Though it's a meager light source, it will serve as a much-needed beacon through the dark hallways of the facility. In contrast to every other tool, it does not consume any ammo and leaves both hands available. Deeper in the underground complex, you will come across this torch, which will be really valuable in illuminating every nook and cranny and other dangers that may be hidden in the dark.

There you go, all about how to light the torch in Fallout London. We hope to have helped you as much as we can, so now you can finally light up the torch.
