Think you're ballsy enough to take on one of the most intimidating enemies in the game? If 'yes', then take the challenge against the Forsaken Giant. Max up your character build and get the best high damage weapons for a better chance of killing it. Strategies go critically like this:
- Exploit Weak Points: The red points that appear on your bosses from time to time can be focused upon for intense damage. While active, ensure you clear the area around the boss from the Common enemies before firing at the weak point to maximize damage, although it's important to note that maximum is limited to damage on any particular weak point.
- Eat Assorted Canned Fruit: While at high Sanity, you can eat Assorted Canned Fruit to increase your weak point damage by a hefty 25%.
- Dodge Deadly Attacks: As soon as The Forsaken Giant's hand glows red, quickly run to the other end of the battlefield to avoid its upcoming area attack.
- Dodge Attacks on You: It goes red; its mean you are the boss's next target. Keep on the move as the boss never manages to hit successfully in the same area the third time, or that will lead to battlefield collapse.
- Kill enemy waves first to avoid the boss constantly attacking the arena. Deal priority damage to any of those that spawn in as reinforcing units, especially the elite ones.
- Pull in and toss red orbs at the boss to stun it. A weak point will appear in its stomach.
