Descubre cómo se rodó el anuncio Light The Way y cómo Victor pasó de hacer breaking en un estudio casero a los Juegos Olímpicos de París 2024 con la ayuda de su comunidad, para inspirar a la siguiente generación de atletas. 0:02 [Music] 0:14 I'm Victor Montalvo I'm competing and 0:16 breaking I never would have thought 0:19 someone was going to tell my 0:21 [Music] 0:24 story not just in the breaking Community 0:26 but to everyone like a different 0:28 audience that has never heard about 0:31 bre just like 0:33 that in between we really wanted to 0:37 focus on a point of inspiration a 0:39 journey and then passing that 0:41 inspiration on to 0:44 others everyone we had not just who we 0:47 cast but even the people who were 0:48 auditioning there was a real excitement 0:50 about what that meant to them I think 0:53 for them it was a real privilege to be 0:54 playing you know a young 0:56 Victor I remember when I was young I saw 0:58 a movie about breaking my dad and my 1:01 uncle uh told us like hey we used to do 1:03 that back in the days my cousin was like 1:05 man that's a lie that's when my dad and 1:07 my uncle put on some hoodies and started 1:09 doing back spins and windmills and yeah 1:12 that was the first time I I like ever 1:14 saw 1:15 it at the age of 15 my dad built like my 1:18 own little Studio I didn't really know 1:20 that my dad was doing it for me so he 1:23 was like basically investing on me 1:26 because he believed in me so much and 1:28 that's something that I didn't really 1:29 realized until now I really like like 1:32 appreciate him for just doing that for 1:36 me con 1:49 [Music] 1:56 [Music] 2:00 right yeah B boy Cloud was one of like 2:03 my biggest Inspirations him and his 2:05 whole crew slide in like this and then 2:07 go in I mean I've worked with Cloud for 2:09 many many years and it was fantastic for 2:12 the three of us to come together Cloud 2:13 myself and Victor and sort of work out 2:16 how we were going to tell this journey 2:17 through 2:18 dance I read the story boards and it was 2:22 very nostalgic for me just all the 2:24 nuances in in the Nostalgia of the 2:26 garage and the sun coming through and 2:28 like different circles with spotlight 2:30 and being on stage it's just so free it 2:33 you really there's no rules to it 2:35 there's like you know there foundations 2:36 but I think what anyone could just kind 2:38 of bring themselves to this dance the 2:42 the limitations is the 2:43 [Music] 2:44 imagination okay that was it's a really 2:47 great feeling you know I'm representing 2:49 a whole country the whole process has 2:51 been fun I just want to prove that 2:53 Breakin has something to offer and you 2:56 don't really need anything you know you 2:58 just need a dance floor in yourself self 3:00 and music that's it 3:04 [Music]
