Every time you use your machine, there is a chance that coffee oils get stuck in your filter basket. Therefore it’s important to spend a short amount of time cleaning and removing these residuals before they build up and prevent your espresso machine from producing exceptional third wave specialty coffee.
Directions: 1. Make sure your filter basket is cool before rinsing it and the portafilter under hot water. This will remove any coffee oil residuals. 2. If you notice that the holes in the filter basket are blocked, dissolve a cleaning tablet in hot water and soak the filter basket and portafilter in the solution for approximately 20 minutes, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
