Performing a clear water backflush after every coffee-making session is essential in removing any residual oils from your machine, ensuring it not only functions efficiently, but is also producing rich, flavourful coffee just the way you like it.
Directions:
1. Empty the drip tray and place the grey silicone cleaning disk supplied with your machine into the filter basket.
2. Insert the portafilter into the group head and press the ‘1-cup’ button. Allow pressure to build for 20 seconds, then stop the shot.
3. When you have stopped the shot, water will run back into the drip tray.
4. Repeat the steps above 3-4 more times for optimum results.
