We live in California and bought a Frigidaire refrigerator for our new vacation home in Arizona. I just wish I had read all the reviews before choosing this brand. Our new home was ready 2 months earlier than expected. We called the Home Depot where we bought it to get an earlier delivery date. No problem...we planned, took 6 hours for the weekend and received our fridge. Refrigerator arrived, installed, felt ready to go. The next morning, we discovered the fridge wasn't cooling. We could hear it running, but it wasn't cold at all. Long story short (and it really is)...we finally got the Frigidaire guys to listen and they said they couldn't replace the broken fridge and they had to send someone in to try and fix it. What? ? ? ? We don't live in Arizona, it's our vacation home, we're back in California. Rudeness and lack of empathy are unacceptable, but there is nothing I can do about it. They called a service technician (yes, I had to find someone in the new neighborhood I didn't really know and give them my keys so they could let him in). The service tech said it couldn't be repaired...ugh. I gave them our return date and they said no problem...then they will deliver. No I got an automated call that they would be there. Waited at home all day. They didn't come. I finally got to the delivery manager and he said they don't even have a refrigerator in their warehouse yet. After 6 more frantic phone calls from me, they finally delivered a day later at 8:30pm! ! ! ! The new fridge makes noise, you can't see the digital display showing water, cubes, crushed ice, it doesn't light up. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ELECTROLUX/FRIGIDAIRE! ! ! No customer service... when you finally get someone, they are rude, or at least Sharon at Frigidaire Extension**. never! ! ! !
I got my freezer from Teppermans in Windsor. The staff were hard to find and when I did find them they ignored my questions and made me feel like I was harassing them to buy discounted items multiple times. I had to tell them it was on sale because they didn't recognize the sale and tried to tell me they didn't have it on sale until about 3 sales people tried to find a sale on it which embarrassed me like I was lying or Tried to get something cheaper than normal price and it was a cheaper brand, I finally proved them right and they didn't apologize. They thought they could make me pay the price on the sticker. I'm frustrated and wondering how many customers they do this to. I have so many problems with my fridge and they won't fix it. This makes me sad so won't be shopping there again, my fridge is only 5 years old.
