Creative Director Sandra Choi invites us all to enjoy her “crystallized banquet,” a spectacular in-store display and window installation concept that is lighting up the globe’s upscale stores and boutiques for the holidays. Having launched on October 27, it’s an invitation that is already proving irresistible with discerning shoppers. Imagine all your favorite foodie treats laid out in tempting profusion on an elegant banqueting table: caviar, lobster and shellfish, champagne served in golden goblets, and glistening fruits. Now picture each setting, with an ornately embellished shoe or clutch from Spring/Summer 2017’s Cruise Collection artfully presented on the plate. Finally, shower this cornucopia of delights with lashings of Swarovski crystals. Wow! Jimmy Choo stores in London’s Sloane Street and New Bond Street, as well as in Milan, Munich, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Dallas, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and Qatar feature the birds-eye view banquet. While stores in Paris and New York City present an “elevated buffet” version. Special installations featuring a horizontal view of the banqueting table can be seen in Vancouver’s Nordstrom and London’s Harrods, together with Saks, New York, where Sandra Choi will make a special appearance.
