Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes Makes: 12 Ingredients: 2 cups shredded unsweetened coconut 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup chopped peanuts 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 regular (1.86 oz) Snickers Original, chopped 1 egg white, at room temperature Pinch salt Pinch cream of tartar 2 oz dark chocolate, melted Instructions: Preheat oven to 325°F. In large bowl, toss together coconut, sweetened condensed milk, peanuts and vanilla. Fold in Snickers; set aside. In separate bowl, beat together egg white, salt and cream of tartar on low speed until starting to foam. Increase speed to high. Beat until stiff peaks start to form; fold into coconut mixture. Drop batter into 12 mounds onto parchment paper–lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown; let cool completely on baking sheet. Place melted chocolate in shallow bowl. Dip bottoms of cookies into melted chocolate, letting excess drip back into bowl. Return to parchment paper–lined baking sheet. Let stand until chocolate is set. Tips: • Use milk chocolate for dipping if desired. • Alternatively, drizzle chocolate over top of macaroons; garnish with a sprinkle of finely chopped Snickers.
