VIDEO Sephora How To: Create a Colorful Festival Ponytail TV commercial 2019 • 00:03 hi there my name is Kate I'm here today 00:05 with Sephora 00:06 to show you how to get this colorful 00:08 festival ponytail with temporary hair 00:10 color let's get started as you can see 00:12 I've already pulled my hair up into a 00:14 high ponytail so now I'm going to add 00:16 some bold trend colors to my look using 00:19 good die young poser paste temporary 00:21 hair makeup and shade X girl pink so to 00:24 begin I'm going to take a small amount 00:26 from the jar rub my fingers together and 00:28 apply it to the length of my bangs for a 00:30 bold pop of color 00:31 it's a washable temporary hair color 00:34 with paste texture and a little bit goes 00:36 a long way 00:36 so I recommend starting with a small 00:38 amount and building up the color until 00:40 you achieve the vibrancy you want so now 00:42 that I've built the color to where I 00:43 want it I'm going to brush my hair to 00:45 distribute the color and achieve a 00:47 softer color next I'm going to go in 00:50 with the color narwhal teal using the 00:53 same application technique to the length 00:55 of my pony as you can see here the color 00:58 payoff is really impactful this is such 01:01 a fun way to try trend hair colors 01:03 without the commitment the color easily 01:05 washes out with shampoo and it's 01:08 completely safe to use on all hair types 01:10 and colors now that the color has been 01:12 worked in I'm going to brush through the 01:14 pony just like I did on my bangs to give 01:17 it a softer color 01:18 now that the pozer paste has been 01:20 applied I'm going to take this look one 01:22 step further by sectioning out the pony 01:24 with colorful hair ties secure it around 01:26 the hair every two to four inches I like 01:28 to have bigger bubbles for more dramatic 01:30 effects so I'm going to space them out 01:32 now that the ties are in place I'm going 01:34 to gently pull on the sections outwards 01:36 with my fingers to create a larger 01:38 bubble and this is so much easier than 01:41 it looks it's just like putting in a 01:43 regular pony tail you just do it all the 01:45 way down your whole entire Pony you can 01:47 customize your bubbles based on where 01:50 you place them and how far you pull them 01:51 apart and just to add one more pop of 01:54 color I'm going to go back with the 01:55 shade X girl pink so the very end of the 01:58 pony and brush it through to finish 01:59 again don't be afraid to play with the 02:02 color here it will wash right out with 02:03 shampoo and for a finishing touch I'm 02:06 going to apply the Sephora collection 02:08 hashtag lip Stories lipstick and desert 02:11 trip to my lips it's so gorgeous I love 02:13 how this ties the look together so there 02:15 you have it don't forget 02:16 to comment and let me know which 02:18 haircolor you're dying to try and please 02:21 subscribe to this channel if you would 02:22 like to see more tutorials like this 02:24 thanks for watching - advertisement spot 2019
