I know why you’re really here. 00:45 It's for the thrills. 00:46 And it’s true. Mt. Komorebi has ‘em. 00:48 And I am a fan. 00:51 People think there’s this rivalry between skiers and boarders. 00:54 But here, that’s just not true. 00:56 Nobody cares how you get down the mountain. 00:58 Sure, it can be intimidating. 01:00 But with practice comes skill, 01:02 and before you know it, you’ll find yourself with a new lifestyle entirely 01:05 and maybe a new home. 01:08 If you want to be a true local, though, 01:09 you’ve got to learn to live with the distractions of life. 01:12 Keep the selfies to a minimum and just take it all in. 01:14 It’s the Komorebi way. 01:16 And if you truly focus, you can take full control of your emotions. 01:22 There's more than one place to find your zen. 01:25 Hot springs. They're super popular in Mt. Komorebi. 01:28 And hey, who doesn’t love a good soak? 01:31 And you are going to want to visit the Onsen, 01:33 just follow the rules when you do. 01:35 We want to keep these rejuvenating pools clean for generations to come. 01:41 My favorite piece of this beautiful place I call home, 01:43 is the mountain itself. 01:45 It’s where I met the love of my life. 01:48 Okay, story time... 01:49 She was an accomplished climber. 01:51 I was not. 01:53 She planned ahead. 01:54 I did not. 01:55 Suffice to say, 01:56 an excursion to the summit of Mt. Komorebi is dangerous. 01:59 Seriously. 02:00 I might not have made it without her. 02:02 Who am I kidding? I definitely wouldn’t have. 02:06 Mt.
