The front dog of the Cometeers does time in a pawn shop window before a string of humiliating gigs -- mini-golf target and close-range karaoke victim among them -- and is eventually abandoned at a junkyard under the business end of a trash compactor. All hope seems lost until a nostalgic passerby rescues our hero, cleans him and sets him up as sign decoration at an educational space center. After the virtual space walk attraction closes one day, a visitor deposits a pair of Meta Quest 2 goggles on our hero's furry head, allowing him to enter the Horizon Worlds VR game. Inside the "metaverse" he finds that his former bandmates got their flippers and tentacles on their own Oculus goggles; together they relive the glory days in a digital recreation of Questy's.- advertisement spot 2022
