It's 1987. 1:13 Axel is back in Detroit, putting bad guys back behind bars. 1:17 Meanwhile, the criminals in LA keep getting sleeker 1:21 and a new burglary ring tries 1:23 to kill Bogomil when he's onto them, leaving him in a coma 1:27 So that doesn't sit well with Axel. 1:29 So he comes back to Beverly Hills 1:30 and Teams up with Rosewood and Taggart again. 1:33 Here they are at the Playboy Mansion. 1:35 It was a different time. 1:36 Anyway, they take out the bad guys. 1:39 Side note: Chris Rock's first big screen 1:42 roll is in this movie. 1:44 Axel returns to Beverly Hills a few times after that, 1:46 getting into more and more chaos! 1:50 Cut to 2024. Axel is still on the force in Detroit, 1:55 Taggart is unretired and back with the Beverly Hills P-D, 1:59 and Rosewood left the department 2:00 to become a private investigator. 2:02 But the biggest news? Axel has a daughter! 2:06 She's a criminal defense attorney in LA 2:07 and she sometimes works with Rosewood. 2:10 When Jane decides to defend a person frame 2:13 for murdering a cop, Jane's life is threatened. 2:15 Rosewood goes missing, and Axel lands back in LA. 2:20 That's where he meets Bobby, who's also a detective. 2:22 And Jane's ex-boyfriend.
