Directed by Francis Lawrence, starring Jason Momoa, Marlow Barkley, Kyle Chandler, Chris O’Dowd, and Weruche Opia. 0:00 Welcome to my world, kid. 0:02 Slumberland, the world of dreams. 0:06 Watching the dream world come to life 0:07 was a wonderful experience. 0:09 The visual effects are phenomenal. 0:11 It's tricky doing a movie like this just technically. 0:15 It's a huge effects movie and it's very complicated. 0:18 So there was a bit of a puzzle of how we're going 0:19 to pull certain things off. 0:22 We start in this modern apartment, 0:25 where a stuffed animal, Pig, comes to life. 0:28 What? 0:29 They had four stuntmen, all wearing these green suits. 0:34 And they just pick it up and they're 0:35 wobbly and walking around. 0:39 This is my first time working with giant walls 0:42 of green screen and characters who aren't even there. 0:49 Filming the goose scene was so fun. 0:51 We had this giant goose with no head and no tail, 0:55 just covered in green screen. 0:59 You're on a quarter of a goose back, 1:02 but then you watch it and it's wow. 1:06 One of the most interesting things for me making this movie 1:09 has just been the variety of things that we've done. 1:13 We go from shooting inside timeless lighthouse interior 1:17 to a dream in an old Havana, Cuban hotel 1:23 to high in the Alpine mountains. 1:26 Every day felt like something completely different 1:29 with new challenges and new environments. 1:32 I really enjoy that process of building out those worlds. 1:36 What kind of maniac is driving this thing? 1:41 My favorite scenes that I got to film 1:44 was some stuff in the water. 1:47 I had an idea of what it was going 1:48 to look like but I didn't know that it 1:50 was going to be that detailed. 1:53 What's really spectacular about this movie 1:55 is how visual effects turn these stages and sets into a world 1:58 that's like being in a dream. 2:01 You can do anything in Slumberland. 2:02 You're crazy!
