Reserving the MINI of friends or family members is easy with MINI Sharing. In the MINI Sharing App, under “MINI” you’ll find the cars of those who invited you as a driver. Select a friend’s MINI to get a detailed overview of the vehicle. Tap on “Book MINI” – and choose a period when you need the car. After selecting the dates, the request is sent to the owner. Incoming notification: A reservation request! Check all booking requests under the tab “Bookings”. Select a request to get review up and drop off times. Now it’s your choice: Do you accept or decline the booking? You’re welcome! Remember, only requests of non-VIP drivers need to be manually accepted. VIP bookings get confirmed automatically. When the owner accepts your request, you will get a push confirmation. The MINI Sharing App is available since October 2020 in selected markets. Other markets will follow. You can download the MINI Sharing App from Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store. MINI Sharing is only supported by vehicles with the option Flexible CarSharing Preparation (option code 5GE).
