The event took place in a hybrid format, with both an in-person gala at The Glasshouse in Manhattan as well as a virtual program for guests tuning in from home. The night kicked off with a cocktail hour hosted in partnership with Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle, featuring the New York institution’s signature martini and live entertainment. Attendees were then seated for dinner and the annual awards presentation, which was emceed by past honoree Billy Porter and featured remarks by Michael Kors, Freida Pinto, and Paloma Elsesser along with the evening’s honorees, Huma Abedin, Jessica Alba, Bella Hadid and Karen Pearl. Guests who joined virtually received a link to the program as well as a box filled with delicious surprises curated by Bemelmans Bar. The evening raised more than $3 million, funding nearly 35,000 nutritionally-tailored meals for God’s Love We Deliver’s clients.
