The GOB01 features a variable speed control dial that rotates the sanding pad 6,000-10,000 OPM (oscillations per minute) for smoother finish sanding. The 3/16” orbit diameter provides a swirl-free finish. It was engineered to have an ultra-low profile with superior ergonomics. It features up to 41% less vibrations for reduced operator fatigue. The GOB01 features an efficient through-the-pad dust collection system with a built-in dust port and an easy connection to the Makita vacuum system for a cleaner work environment. It is also equipped with the Auto-start Wireless System (AWS®) uses Bluetooth technology to power wireless on-off communication between the tool and dust extractor (Auto-start Wireless Transmitter, part no. 198901-5 sold separately).
