This is true for Jeff Ippoliti, the owner of the legendary Countach featured in the hit movie "The Cannonball Run." He is a Lamborghini owner who proves that any dream can be realized. Watch the video to see how. #Lamborghini 0:00 I was a kid when the movie came out and I saw it, 0:02 and especially that first four minutes of that car on the screen, 0:04 it was just amazing to me. 0:06 And it was just so futuristic. 0:08 Even now, today, nearly 50 years later, 0:10 it still looks amazing, it still looks incredible. 0:14 The sound of the car, and how it looked, 0:17 and I remember the opening scene where the car was coming at the camera, 0:20 and it looks so low and so flat, and so sinister and black. 0:24 And the sound of it... I loved this car since the very first time I saw it. 0:29 And, I mean, it's a 1979 Lamborghini, so it's an older car. 0:33 It doesn't have the creature comforts of a new car, or even a new Lamborghini. 0:37 But it has all that raw power and sound to it 0:40 and it's an incredible experience. 0:43 It's not just driving a car, it's a whole experience with this car. 0:47 Well, to me it's always been an important car. 0:49 And I think everybody in my age group 0:53 had a picture, a poster of the Countach on their wall growing up. 0:57 So, it's iconic. 0:59 And the car was inducted as the 30th car in history 1:02 onto the National Historic Vehicle Registry. 1:04 So, what that means is that Congress of the United States 1:08 has determined or deemed that this car is important to American history. 1:11 So one of 30, 1:13 and I think that says it all about how important this car is to American culture 1:18 and what it meant to a whole generation of people. 1:21 I never get used to owning it. 1:23 I still walk into my garage after nearly two decades and I get chills. 1:27 Sometimes I have to go out and just touch the car 1:29 to prove to myself it's actually real. It's amazing.
