While more than half of the population are women, they hold a little less than a third of elected positions in office, which means women aren’t in control of the decisions being made about women. Through the ‘First Strides’ initiative and an ongoing collaboration with She Should Run, Johnnie Walker is supporting their bold yet necessary goal to inspire 250,000 women to take their first strides toward public leadership by 2030.
