They’re an incredible organization with a mission to solve the worldwide water crisis—and they’re just one of the crews inspiring us (and spreading cheer!) this season. 00:01 I'm Christoph quarter a dime velocity 00:04 I'm Julia Anderson Theresa auto we're a 00:09 nonprofit organization bringing clean 00:11 and safe drinking water to people around 00:13 the world it's roughly 663 million 00:16 people around the world that don't have 00:17 access to clean water that's about one 00:19 in ten people or twice the size of the 00:21 United States eight point four million 00:23 people now have access to clean and safe 00:25 drinking water because of charity water 00:27 we work in 29 countries across the world 00:29 Senegal Nicaragua Central African 00:31 Republic Kenya Rwanda India Jose B 00:34 Cambodia Madagascar Bangladesh drinks 00:40 people don't often realize is that it 00:42 goes way beyond just health by giving 00:45 teen water we also give people back time 00:46 in a day we get kids going back to 00:48 school we get women starting businesses 00:50 we have all these amazing things that 00:52 happen when you give the gift of water 00:54 being in the accounting department I 00:57 don't travel often for work but I was 00:59 able to go to Ethiopia and see some of 01:02 our projects and I got to fill a 01:06 jerrycan full of water and carry it on 01:08 my back to a woman's house and even 01:12 though we didn't speak the same language 01:14 um we could still connect clean water 01:18 changes everything anyone who wants to 01:20 make a difference can join our monthly 01:22 giving program called the spring this 01:24 community of people like us who want to 01:27 make a difference in the world - advertisement spot 2018
