Biscuits & Gravy Casserole TV commercial 2024 • Biscuits & Gravy Casserole Get ready to GRAVY-ate towards deliciousness! 🍽️ ⁠ Get the recipe below! 👇️⁠ .⁠ .⁠ Cook Time: 1 Hour, 10 Minutes⁠ Servings: 8⁠ .⁠ .⁠ .⁠ Ingredients:⁠ ⁠ Sausage Gravy:⁠ 3 tbsp I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Original Spread⁠ 1 can refrigerated biscuits⁠ 1 lb breakfast sausage⁠ 1 tsp fennel seeds⁠ ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)⁠ ¼ cup all purpose flour⁠ 3 cups milk⁠ Salt and pepper⁠ Chives, chopped (for garnish)⁠ ⁠ Casserole:⁠ 6 eggs⁠ ¼ cup milk⁠ 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded⁠ ½ tsp salt⁠ ¼ tsp black pepper⁠ .⁠ .⁠ .⁠ Instructions:⁠ ⁠ 1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.⁠ 2.) Add sausage to a medium skillet over medium heat. Season with fennel seed and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sausage is browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. ⁠ 3.) Remove sausage with a slotted spoon and set aside. Leave any drippings in the pan.⁠ 4.) Melt 3 tbsp Original Spread into the pan, then sprinkle in the flour. Stir and cook until slightly browned, about 2 minutes.⁠ 5.) Pour in half of the milk while continuing to stir. Once combined, add in the second half. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne. Let simmer, whisking occasionally, until thickened, about 10 minutes. Set gravy aside.⁠ 6.) In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. ⁠ 7.) In a 13x9 baking dish, pour in the egg mixture. Sprinkle with half of the cheese and half of the sausage. Arrange the biscuits in an even layer. Pour over half of the gravy and the remaining cheese and sausage. Bake for 40 minutes.⁠ 8.) Serve with the remaining gravy (reheated) and fresh chopped chives.⁠ ⁠
