Join us as we interview the cast and crew of Disney’s The Lion King at the World Premiere of the much anticipated film, which opens nationwide on July 19. 00:00 (energetic techno music) 00:01 (cheering) 00:02 - Hi guys, it's Jenn Im here. 00:04 I am so excited to be here 00:06 at the world premiere of Disney's The Lion King. 00:09 And I'm so stoked that I get to be here 00:11 with Disney Style and Pandora jewelry. 00:13 (energetic techno music) 00:18 I feel like this look is very Lion King. 00:19 You know, got like this-- - Mmm-hmm. 00:20 - It's like a very full mane, 00:22 and I've got like the sunset. 00:24 All right guys, we are about to 00:25 finish things off with the jewelry. 00:28 Oh my God, I love it. 00:30 (energetic techno music) 00:31 You know, I'm on Pride Rock right now. 00:33 (energetic techno music) 00:34 (cheering) 00:35 I am so pumped to see what stars 00:38 are about to come down the red carpet right now. 00:41 So let's go check it out. 00:42 You look absolutely dapper tonight. 00:44 - Thank you very much. 00:45 - I would like to know, 00:46 what was your first reaction 00:47 when you were asked to be a part of this film? 00:49 - I was just really excited, 00:51 really, really thrilled. 00:52 I mean, obviously, it's such an iconic character, 00:54 and iconic story. 00:56 - I think The Lion King is a story about life. 01:00 And what I like about it is, 01:02 it tackles every little moment. 01:05 It's about joy, it's about love, 01:06 it's about friendship, so many things. 01:08 (energetic techno music) 01:10 - I would love to know, 01:11 what about your character 01:12 do you identify with the most 01:14 and how did you bring your own flair to it? 01:16 - You know, a lot of it, 01:17 the director, actually, it was very interesting, 01:19 encouraged me to really bring a lot of myself to it. 01:23 So, I think the real spin is that there's a lot of honesty, 01:26 a lot of, kind of, just me in the piece, 01:28 as opposed to me trying to put something on. 01:31 - Wow, it's so amazing to see everyone's personal style. 01:34 I would love to know 01:35 what about Timon do you resonate with the most? 01:39 - Yes, it's a tall, big personality 01:41 stuffed into a little meerkat body. 01:43 - Oh my gosh, I think I see Seth Rogen. 01:45 He plays Pumbaa in the film 01:47 and I can't wait for him to stop by. 01:49 What theme of The Lion King 01:51 really resonates to you the most? 01:54 - The circle of life, connectivity. 01:56 We are all responsible for one another. 01:57 Our actions affect other people. 01:59 I think that's a good theme, 02:00 especially for this day and age. 02:02 - You know, I must say, 02:03 The Lion King is one of those special crown jewels 02:05 for Disney and to be able to have the talent 02:07 that we were able to get 02:09 to do the voices and to also sing for this movie, 02:12 it's something special. 02:14 - Wow, it has been so surreal 02:16 to get to interview the cast and crew of The Lion King. 02:20 I want to do a huge thank you 02:22 to Pandora and Disney Style for having me here. 02:25 Go check out Disney's The Lion King 02:27 in theaters July 19th. 02:29 Well, I'm gonna go watch it right now. 02:31 Gonna grab my popcorn. 02:33 See you later. 02:33 (energetic techno music) - advertisement spot 2019
