VIDEO dior Tales of the Wild – GRIZZLY KID TV commercial 2021 • 00:13 When you enter a place that has an animal 00:15 like a grizzly bear that could potentially kill you, 00:18 your senses have to be heightened. 00:26 You just never know what you might run into 00:28 and you become kind of what our ancestors were, 00:31 you suddenly have this enhanced perception of the woods. 01:58 I have always just been obsessed with animals. 02:00 It's been something that I constantly think about. 02:04 So I think, my relationship with wilderness 02:08 kind of was born from that obsession. 02:26 Bears are this emblem of wilderness. 02:29 You know if you have bears in the ecosystem and if they are doing well, 02:33 you know that the ecosystem is healthy. 02:36 You know, I started developing this relationship with their habitat 02:39 and with nature and learning that everything was connected. 02:44 And kind of learning from them. 03:23 For me, bears are so fascinating. 03:26 They are always such like a mythical creature to me. 03:28 It was an animal that could change your entire experience when you are in the woods 03:33 because suddenly you are sharing space with an animal 03:36 that is much more powerful than you and has the ability to kill you. 03:42 You are kind of surrendering a part of yourself to them. 04:37 For such a longtime, we were part of the ecosystem, we were part of the wilderness. 04:42 It wasn't something we were trying to dominate, 04:44 it was something we were trying to live in harmony with. 04:47 And we have kind of forgotten that, 04:49 that is something we have kind of left behind in a lot of places. 04:53 And I think it's just a really important part of who we are. 05:09 As a bear biologist I obviously feel some responsibility 05:12 towards bears conservation. 05:14 It's part of my job, it's something that you know I feel constant pressure 05:19 to care about and to be passionate about. 05:22 But I don't think you need to be a bear biologist or wildlife biologist 05:26 to care about nature, to have an impact on nature. 05:31 Just kind of going out and becoming reconnected with nature 05:37 is the most important thing that someone can do in their daily life 05:40 to make things better. 05:45 And I think when you re-establish that connection, 05:48 life becomes richer, becomes fuller. 05:53 And from there, things just snowball and you start to really make big changes.- advertisement spot 2021
