VIDEO Desigual inBeta | Sónar Festival 2019 Aftermovie TV commercial 2019 • Taking part in a collective sound and image canvas, becoming a walking piece of art, discovering what your creative energy looks like and participating in active and moving meditation. All to discover that you’re creative, and that there’s an artist within you. Artist and body painter Claudia Sahuquillo welcomed the visitors at the entrance to Desigual inBeta with her army of body painting artists, all of whom were painted in neon colors which reacted to the UV light. Onionlab created an interactive and immersive space with light and images controlled by the movements of the visitors, which created an array of stunning colors and shapes. The piece combined a mixture of technologies including projection, lasers, cameras, motion sensing, real-time graphics, biometric sensors, immersive visuals and LED lights. Each user was given headphones at the entrance which let them play with a soundscape that could be modified through their own movements. Three times a day, we were also able to enjoy sessions of SUCO: active meditation through dance and movement to the sound of music curated by Portuguese artist Branko. Dance sessions, movement and connection as part of an activity guided by the voice of a South African spiritual leader who practices this in Barcelona. A 30-minute journey accompanied by projections and visuals created by Onionlab studio.
