The uncompromising vision of Trucks and Tedeschi has paid off. The Tedeschi Truck Band now has 12 members and has been touring the US and abroad for over a decade. They enjoy a great reputation among audiences and critics as one of the best live bands in the world. Notable venues such as the Beacon Theatre, Ryman Auditorium and Red Rock Amphitheater sold out nightly shows, proving the essential concert experience fans have come to expect. The band's own "Wheels of Soul" tour has become a coveted summer experience across the country, bringing TTB's unique blend of upbeat rock and soul to the stage, featuring numerous guests, sit-ins and backing bands, including the late Sharon Jones, Los Lobos The Wood Brothers, Hot Tuna and more recently Blackberry Smoke, The Marcus King Band and Drive-By Truckers. Led by married couple singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi and guitarist Derek Trucks, the Tedeschi Trucks have grown into one of the most experienced and respected music ensembles in the world.
