For this longtime project, the director drew inspiration from the story of the conjuration of Catilina, published in 43 BC by Roman historian Sallustius. The film explores universal themes such as power and corruption, transposed to the near future. CHANEL and the Coppola family have long been connected through friendship and creativity.
