All of us play. 1:45 We play in real life, and we play in movies. 1:48 There’s nothing objective really about music, 1:50 it’s purely subjective and can influence the same way editing does. 1:55 Music can help with the process of focusing on all those possibilities, 2:01 that this is the one we would like to track. 2:05 It’s a miracle anything works, 2:08 that a movie actually works is a miracle. 2:10 A computer can’t do it. 2:14 It takes human beings who make mistakes, 2:17 who have to fix a mistake, and fixing a mistake can find something extraordinary. 2:22 That’s basically it, acting is the same right? 2:24 Some memory comes up out of nowhere, 2:26 and the person you’re working with reacts to that 2:30 and it’s back and forth. 2:31 It’s in the being alive, to the thoughts and the emotions, 2:37 that makes storytelling riveting for two hours. - advertisement spot 2024
