Explore early career opportunities at bp – bp.com/uscampus 0:00 [Music] 0:01 when I go in in the morning it excites 0:03 me because I get to see a bunch of other 0:05 creative people the fact that I get to 0:07 wake up and come here and just be me and 0:10 bring myself to work it's so amazing and 0:13 it fills me with such 0:17 gratitude I've been in my role here at 0:20 PP for about 2 years now creativity is 0:23 literally in My DNA I can do both user 0:27 experience as well as user interface 0:29 just just so we can all be able to use 0:31 design as a way to communicate with each 0:33 other design is literally in everything 0:36 it's from colors to typography to the 0:39 way we interact with apps to creating 0:41 the apps and building websites it's just 0:44 so nice and refreshing to have like 0:46 those conversations and taking these 0:48 digital ideas and making them something 0:50 real that process is phenomenal to me BP 0:54 is definitely an easy company to sell it 0:56 into there's so many people who go out 0:58 their way who just want to talk to you 1:00 and meet you people really genuinely 1:01 care about you they want to see you 1:03 flourish I love talking I love building 1:06 communities I love getting to know 1:08 people I love people getting to know me 1:10 the best part of that is being inspired 1:12 by others and seeing them on their 1:14 Journeys and be like oh my gosh you are 1:16 a traillblazer I want to be just like 1:18 you can we 1:20 talk it's nice here they're all about 1:23 like make sure you have a safe space and 1:26 your health is very much prioritized 1:28 here and they want you to take advantage 1:30 of those 1:31 resources everyone deserves an equal 1:34 opportunity and knowing here at BP 1:37 that's what they want to do was very 1:38 important to me I come from an 1:40 underrepresented community so to see 1:42 that someone made their way into a place 1:46 where they can cause a change and give 1:48 back to their Community is so 1:50 heartwarming to me every day I genuinely 1:54 love meeting new people talking hearing 1:57 their stories because as it's designed 1:59 that empowers me it shows me the type of 2:02 people that exist out in the world so 2:03 when it's time for me to design and put 2:05 out products or websites or content I 2:08 know what type of audience I'm trying to 2:10 reach I can express how much I love 2:13 being creative and the fact that I can 2:15 do that every day is not just a job to 2:18 me it's a passion it's a lifestyle 2:21 [Music]
