Grab your flat cap and whippet because this month we’re in one of our favourite places in the UK for craft beer, exploring some of the amazing breweries of Yorkshire! First up, from Magic Rock and Masons Gin we have Botanicalist. This gin and tonic IPA fuses a secret mix of eight botanicals with a clean and crisp West Coast IPA to deliver a refreshingly complex beer filled with citrus notes, pine, zest and a trace of sweet bitterness. A great taste of Yorkshire! For the light box subscribers, we have some amazing beers including brewing legends Timothy Taylor’s Hopical Storm. This triple-hopped pale ale combines the brewery’s unique yeast strain with Cascade, Chinook and Whitbread Goldings hops (and a cheeky dry-hop addition of Jester and Ernest hops). The end result is a beer packed with flavours of mandarin, mango and passion fruit. This is definitely one for the hop heads and with the tall can, there’s a lot more to enjoy! Don’t fret dark beer fans, we have plenty of incredible beers in our mixed selection such as North Brewing and their oatmeal stout Dream Cycle. With a fantastic spread of malts and a generous helping of oats, this beer is smooth and roasty with a touch of vanilla in the aroma. Additions of Centennial and experimental hop HBC472 blend bring a bitterness and subtle zesty fruit character for an outstanding stout. Looking for more beers? Virtuous Grapefruit is a variation on Kirkstall’s core session IPA which adds zesty and aromatic new dimensions to a clean West-Coast style beer full of tropical fruit, citrus and pine. 12 pack subscribers can look forward to Lutin by Tartarus Beers. This traditional style Belgian saison uses Farmhouse yeast to give a spicy, clove-like aroma. A dry hop of Nelson Sauvin gives the beer a slightly fruity palate with a touch of gooseberry.
