VIDEO Bassett Bench*Made - Built For Your Story TV commercial 2020 • 00:04 [Music] 00:07 in the old days it was all solid wood 00:09 you know and it was done with you know 00:11 more primitive tools 00:13 someone brushed the finish on with paint 00:15 brushes by hand and 00:16 we've taken that kind of one at a time 00:20 small batch approach and put it into a 00:23 factory and for our benchmade 00:25 product line the raw material is 00:27 predominantly 00:29 red leaf maple trees we use solid wood 00:32 it comes from the mountains around us i 00:35 mean 00:35 our made in america is very personal 00:38 both for the folks who make it and the 00:39 folks who buy it 00:40 it's not stamping it out item after item 00:44 it's making one piece of furniture at a 00:47 time for an individual 00:51 it didn't come from a big warehouse in 00:53 the sky that we ship it out of it is 00:55 made and shipped directly to that person 01:00 when a customer orders something we put 01:02 their name 01:03 on that work order that goes through 01:06 this factory so 01:07 they're not just making a piece of 01:08 furniture they're making it for somebody 01:11 from the way that we make the furniture 01:13 which our artisans are amazing 01:15 from the experience that we're going to 01:17 deliver you in the store 01:18 to the end experience when we place it 01:21 in your home 01:22 we believe quality is every step of that 01:25 process so 01:26 that pride gets transferred all the way 01:28 down to the customer 01:31 you know that that pride part you know 01:33 this is something i built that's going 01:35 nto someone's home 01:36 that's pretty cool everything that goes 01:38 out of here goes out of here the way it 01:40 goes out of here because we've done it 01:42 with our hands 01:43 we've worked together to make sure that 01:45 it meets 01:46 and exceeds the customers requirements 01:50 this furniture is incredible my great 01:52 grandma bought bassett 01:54 and uh she passed it down to her 01:56 daughter which is my grandma now and 01:59 she still has it hopefully one day i'll 02:01 get it that's the allure man 02:03 it's the years but it's still standing 02:05 that's what's great about it it's gonna 02:07 last 02:08 for a long time- advertisement spot 2020
