Brandon shares his background, along with his first impressions of Athlon's new Rangecraft Velocity PRO Radar Chronograph. Brandon's background in shooting sports began at an early age hunting with his dad. Later on, he became more involved with competitive shooting, including long range, pistol, and short range tactical. He also spends time mountain climbing, camping, fishing, and taking his family out to enjoy the great outdoors. Brandon explains that chronographs are "the key to long range shooting" by showing you the velocity of your projectile(s) along with standard deviation so you have a better idea of what is happening when you send rounds down range. While Brandon was familiar with our "Ridiculously Good Optics", this was his first time getting firsthand experience with our new chronograph. Right away, Brandon recognized the amount of time we spent developing our chronograph and appreciated the ease of use when setting it up. The data captured was consistent and dependable — even after sending over 100 rounds down range — and it was easy to review sessions in Athlon's Ballistics app. The Velocity PRO and accompanying app were timesavers and is likely to be Brandon's next tool to add to his kit.
