Pshed.dll is a dynamic link library (DLL) file used to manage hardware error messages. It acts as a driver or service from Microsoft that helps prevent system crashes. So you should investigate the hardware components to determine the underlying cause.

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR is an error code associated with pshed.dll BSODs, this error suggests hardware problems or outdated or corrupted system drivers and BIOS firmware. They could also be problems with the power supply, faulty memory or others. But don't worry, today we bring you some solutions:

Boot in Safe Mode, Safe Mode allows users to boot into Windows without drivers or third-party services. This helps fix errors caused by drivers and even hardware failures.

To start Windows in safe mode, turn off your computer completely.
Then, press the Power button to start Windows.
As soon as you see the Windows logo, press the Power button again to turn off your computer.
Repeat this step three times to activate the automatic repair system.
Select Advanced options > Troubleshoot > Startup settings. This will reboot your system and show you the options to enable Safe Mode. Simply press F4 to enable safe mode. Once this is done, proceed to follow the following methods:

1. Run SFC Scannow and DISM command, this is a command line utility which is specially used to restore protected system files including DLL files. If any of the essential system files get corrupted, it could lead to BSOD error. Also run the CHKDSK command, which will help fix errors found on a hard drive. For it :

Press the Win key and type Command Prompt in the Windows search bar.
Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
Once open, type sfc /scannow and wait for the command to execute.
Once done, enter the command chkdsk and press Enter.
Once this is done, you can restart your PC to see if the problem is resolved.

2. Disable XMP or any other overclocking, it is advisable to enter your motherboard BIOS settings to reset these settings, particularly by disabling the XMP profile. And because these allow you to overclock the RAM to obtain maximum performance.

But even though XMP is a safe overclocking method, it can still lead to problems, including crashes. Therefore, if you have an XMP profile enabled, be sure to temporarily disable it. For this:

Completely shut down your PC.
Turn it back on.
Seeing the manufacturer's logo on your screen, start pressing F2, F12, Delete or the corresponding key to access the BIOS setup. (Check out our detailed BIOS key guide if you're stuck.)
In the BIOS settings, navigate to the Overclock settings and select the XMP option.
Choose Disable to disable the XMP profile.
After disabling XMP, restart your computer and check if the issue has been resolved

3. Test your RAM, it is especially recommended to test your RAM if you have built your PC recently or face BSOD errors frequently. For this use two drives of RAM so you can test your PC with one drive at a time. If the same problem occurs with both sticks, the problem is likely somewhere else.

4. Finally update the motherboard BIOS, but if the problem is still not resolved after these steps, consider taking your PC to a repair shop for further diagnosis.
