How to remove construction in Dwarf Fortress

Removing construction in the popular game Dwarf Fortress can seem daunting, but with a few simple steps, you can demolish any structure you'd like. In this blog, we'll go through the steps needed to remove construction in Dwarf Fortress. 

Step 1: Bring Up Digging Orders Menu

The first step in removing construction in Dwarf Fortress is bringing up the digging orders menu. Once you have the menu open, click on the stair icon with a red circle, which will enable you to paint the area for removal. Step 3: Remove Building

Once you've selected the area you want to remove, click on the structure itself. Then select the icon of a house with a red circle on the top right of the window that appears. This will delete the chosen building.
