Last year, fans were thrilled to learn that The Sims 5 was officially in development, and now the question on every Simmer's mind is: Will The Sims 5 Have Multiplayer? 

What is Sims 5?


The Sims 5 is the fifth installment of the iconic video game series and is being developed by Maxis Studios and Project Rene. It will feature brand new graphics, gameplay configurations and the ability to customize objects in real-time. It will also include a deep story-driven experience, allowing players to explore the world of the Sims and create their own stories.

Yes! The Sims 5 will feature both single-player and multi-player options, which is an exciting update for the franchise. Prior to this, the only multiplayer experiences available were The Sims Online and The Sims Bustin' Out. Players will have the freedom to choose to play solo or with friends and family.

The game will also have cross-play compatibility with PC and mobile, so players can enjoy The Sims 5 on their favorite platform. Furthermore, Project Rene's Game Director, Grant Rodiek, has confirmed that players will have the chance to customize objects together in real-time.
