1.Excel Options
Changing the color of the gridlines in your Excel spreadsheets is as easy as clicking a button. How to change the color:
Click File > More. > Options. The Display settings for this worksheet area are located by clicking the Advanced tab in the Excel settings window and scrolling down.
At the bottom of this section, open the dropdown menu to choose a color for the gridlines. Once you have selected your color in Excel's palette, click OK to close the Options box.
If you follow the methods above, you can adjust the color of gridlines in your active worksheet. By holding the Ctrl key and clicking the tabs of those worksheets for which you need to modify the color of the gridlines, such worksheets are grouped together - their title is appended to the top by a '[Group]' label. After that, you can change the color of the gridlines, and they would appear in all the selected worksheets.
Remember to ungroup the worksheets-right click the tab and select Ungroup Sheets-after you've made changes to their color. If you don't ungroup the sheets, any changes that you make to the active worksheets would also affect other sheets.
Be advised that altering the color of the gridlines will not impact the new worksheet's or workbook's default color, which is light grey.

Once you've selected a cell or a range of cells, click on the Home menu, locate the Borders dropdown under Font and click More Borders. The Format Cells dialogue opens with the 'Border' tab preselected. You can change the color of the gridlines using the Color menu on the left. 4. Conditional Formatting
Visually, Condition Formatting resembles the recoloring of gridlines, but it affects only those specific locations that satisfy the condition.
You can apply the gridlines to only one or more cells, or to the entire worksheet. Select the Conditional Formatting option from the main menu. Then select New Rule.
Select a Rule Type in the New Formatting Rule dialog. Click Format > only cells that contain from the Edit Rule Description. Then select Cell Value > equal to > [value/text] to change the gridline color only cells that have that value or text.
Select a border color and preset by clicking the Format option by following the steps described above. Click OK to apply the rule.

Advanced users can change the color of Excel gridlines using VBA. Let's try it:
Press Alt + F11 to open the VBA editor. Click Insert > Module and paste the following code into the code editor window:
A subroutine called "ChangeGridlineColor" executed by the application=this window. Color of Gridlines is RGB. So("RedValue," "GreenValue," and "BlueValue"). Complete the subroutine by replacing the original value of the red, green, and blue color channels with an integer ranging from 0 to 255. For example, the color blue would be represented as: RGB(0, 0, 255). To change the gridline color, execute the macro below.
Go to File > Options > Advanced, and then select Automatic under Gridline color to restore it to the default color.
