How to solve the Kummetz Cipher puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Playing as the famous explorer and archaeologist Indiana Jones in Bethesda's latest game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, will send you on journeys across the world. He goes to the Himalayas, Egypt, Thailand, and Italy during the campaign. In the second, you'll find the Kummetz Cipher, which, for the continuation of the plot, should be solved.

If you follow the steps right, the procedure, although a little confusing in the beginning, should be easy to solve and move forward with. How to solve this challenge and go on is detailed below.

Solution of Indiana Jones's Kummetz Cipher in Great Circle

As Indy explores the Kummetz ship's Officer's Lounge, he comes across a puzzle that is also known as the Captain's Cipher. Indy will notice that, except from a handful of dead Nazis, nobody appears hostile when you get at the location. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page if you need the door code.

Approach the table and examine the clipboard. The word "JÖGM" will not be modified, but some of the words may be written. Take a mental note of it and further examine the area. There's a cipher on the nearby table with code wheels scattered around and on the floor nearby.

Gather all of the code wheels and have a close look at them. You can clearly make out a set of letters on them. Remember that you will find exactly one of each letter in each wheel. J will be on one wheel, Ö on another, and the same for G and M.

Carefully put each wheel into its slot: the first slot for the wheel with the letter J, the second slot for the wheel with the letter Ö, the third slot for the letter G, and the fourth slot for the letter M. Close the lid and adjust the wheels so that the letters "JÖGM" are lined up. Down down, you'll see the phrase "BLUT."

Although it's adjacent to the cipher, neither of the words matches. Turn around to the find a second code table in front of the frozen soldiers below; it reads the word "BLUT", and correctly translates to 3666.

Head back over to the keypad and punch in the numbers 3666 to lock the door. You may continue forward now as the doors open.
