How to complete All That is Left in Stalker 2

The Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, the place where the meltdown of a nuclear reactor back in 1986 produced mass radiation and finally made the area unsuitable for people, serves as a setting for the Stalker 2 campaign. The Zone is divided into several zones, each having its own set of NPC encounters.

One of them is Mateus who, in the Chemical Plant area of the map, will be giving you the side quest called All That Is Left. Below is a guide of the task and every option one will have to complete it.

Before you can begin the objective, there is a prerequisite that needs to be met. That Captain Zotov received the Ward Sensors on the "Needle in a Haystack" mission is the purpose of this check. After you've finished, go to the Chemical Plant to talk to Mateus.

He wants you to get him an item; make a quest out of it. The mark is not too far from Mateus's location; to get there, head south from the spot. However, once you reach the property, a few hostile Psy Dogs will be attacking you, and you are supposed to fight them.

Kill them all and proceed towards the mission point. Really beware, as there are a lot of acid pools and radiation sources around. At the very bottom of the part that you are going to be in, there are some metal grates, and one of them is visible now. Follow this one down. Once you get there, kill any hostiles you come across. After that, head through the brick-framed entrance and proceed along the path indicated.

Eventually, you will see a closed door in your path; you will have to go by it. Continuing on after a short while, you will reach a sharp bend that will bring you to a curving cement wall. The Soul item will be lying on the ground southwest from you. If you cannot see it then use the artifact detector.

Prof. Zaretskyi, who is interested in the artifact you've recovered, will send a transmission to you once it has been obtained. You can pause and speak with the Professor before leaving. You now have three options, each of which is outlined in the following sections.

Zaretskyi will be happy to take the relic in return for 4,139 vouchers. If you head back to Mateus, he will dismiss you.

You may give the artifact to Mateus, and he'll reminisce about his friend Budnik, from whom the Soul artifact came. Moreover, he'll be forever grateful if you can have him mail you some coupons.

Alternatively, you can keep the artifact and sell it later for a profit. Tell Zaretskyi and Mateus you don't want to, or can't, work with them.
