It is possible that as you progress in Dragon Age Veilguard, you will come across bosses that are denoted by a distinct color or a skull emblem next to their health bar. What does the skull symbol next to the enemy name mean in Dragon Age Veilguard

You will find that the majority of the bosses and "big" foes in Dragon Age Veilguard have a level, much like your character does.
