Where to Find Volcanic Rock in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Volcanic Rock can be obtained by digging anywhere in Everafter or Mythopia around The Storybook Vale in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is found exclusively in these two areas, so digging anywhere else will never yield this resource.

If you are having trouble acquiring this item, make sure you have a digging partner by your side as you dig to find it. Having a character that specializes in this skill means you will occasionally receive more when you manage to find Volcanic Rock.

You can also craft and use Miraculous Shovel Varnish or Even More Miraculous Shovel Varnish to increase your chance of getting it at the locations you dig for a limited time.

• Miraculous Shovel Varnish increases your chance of getting it at 10 dig locations and can be made with 10 Vitalys Crystals, 10 Dry Wood, and 500 Dreamlights.

Best Place To Find Volcanic Rock In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Based on my digging research to find this resource, Everafter seems to have a much higher Volcanic Rock drop rate than Mythopia, so I recommend digging exclusively in this biome. So far, I haven't been able to find a single Volcanic Rock in Mythopia despite the Collection page saying it can be found there.

When I dig in Mythopia, I pretty much only find Broken Weapons. And when it's not this item, I find gravel instead, but never Volcanic Rock. I dug up over 60 spots in The Elysian Fields and failed to obtain a single Volcanic Rock. In The Wild Woods, I dug up the same number of spots and obtained 26 Volcanic Rocks.

Based on this, it currently looks like the Volcanic Rock drop rate might be bugged in Mythopia, or it might be exceptionally rare. We'll continue testing them there and provide any updates we discover here, but for now, stick around Everafter if you want to acquire this resource.
