How to Start Echoes of Vanadiel Alliance Raid in FFXIV

Since the release of each expansion pack for Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix has always included a trio of 24-man Alliance Raids. Here is how to unlock the Echoes of Vana'diel Alliance Raid in Final Fantasy XIV during the Dawntrail cycle.

How to Get Each Echo of Vana'diel Raid in FFXIV

As previously announced, Final Fantasy XIV is to receive a three-part Echoes of Vana'diel Alliance Raid series. The first would arrive with patch 7.1, the second and third with subsequent patches.

Well, you really shouldn't be considering those until you've got a combat job to level 100 and completed the Dawntrail MSQ. That's right, got it? Alright, let's move on.

First Walkthrough to Unlocking Jeuno

The first Alliance Raid in Echoes of Vana'diel is called Jeuno: The First Walk. This raid will be activated by speaking with Hoobigo Messenger NPC in Tulliyolla at X:13, 7:11. Accept the quest An Otherworldly Encounter and it will start the Echoes of Vana'diel questline.

Once you complete this and have reached Mamook, you will be able to achieve Jeuno: The First Walk without doing anything other than following a few objective marks. This Raid requires an item level of at least 695. If you have been keeping up with doing your dailies since the release of the last patch, you should be at or have already exceeded 695.

If you haven't gotten your Tomestone gear yet, it's easy to catch up now by doing the Arcadion Raids or just visiting Solution Nine and trading for better gear.
