How to Get Dark Matter Containers in Remnant 2
An item called "Black Mass" takes you to Ava McCabe, an NPC, in Ward 13 in Remnant 2, where you can craft the Dark Matter Gauntlets. You'll be able to get this material, or item, in The Dark Horizon DLC, once you've defeated the final boss of the game.
In DLC games, in addition to beating the final boss, Alepsis-Taura, you must complete a sufficient number of dungeons. Dungeons may contain one or two crystals that increase the effect of Alepsis-Taura. See them from a distance thanks to the vertical rays of light that shoot into the sky.
It is possible to get one or two dungeons with these crystals, given that the world and dungeons are randomly generated each time you start a new adventure. You can go back to your adventure and try again if you only want one.
Interestingly, it is possible to perform the required kills without even realizing it. This happened to me: I wasn't focusing on the crystals, just on finishing the dungeons. Even though I earned the Black Mass reward and defeated Alepsis-Taura, I didn't realize I had met the requirement.
Do all of this and then head to the more distant location called "The Convergence" to find your final boss in The Dark Horizon DLC. If you find this boss too difficult to kill, we highly recommend checking out our guide on how to defeat Alepsis-Taura.
