Questionable Patterns of Installation

Web Companion resides in your computer, it means that this application has been installed surreptitiously. Pressing Shift + Delete simultaneously will open the Lavasoft folder. After clicking on Lavasoft, press "Shift" + "Del"

Click Yes to confirm.

Press Windows + R to open the Registry Editor. Type in regedit. In the Run box, type "Regedit" followed by the "Enter" key .

Press Ctrl + F to find Web Companion.

Make sure the boxes next to Keys, Values and Data are checked. Type "Web Companion" into the field and place checkmarks in all three options

Click OK to run the search.

Right-click any entries found that are part of the search and click "Delete."

Reboot your computer to finish removing the program.
