How to Fly in Disney Dreamlight Valley

But surprise, surprise, one of the best things about Disney Dreamlight Valley came to us during the Jungle Getaway update and really caught people off guard. And no, I'm not talking about either the Star Path musical or the Pumbaa and Timon appearance. Thanks to the addition of Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can now take to the skies of the valley on wingtips. Once the update was downloaded, immediately I went to search how to become a fairy just like Tinker Bell, and to travel fast. Honestly, I was seriously surprised that it took me a quite awhile to master the wing maneuvers.

Putting on your wings might sound pretty simple, but it is actually quite different than it really sounds. You can find two places in Disney Dreamlight Valley to equip wings; the one you need to fly is in your wardrobe, under the Gliders option. Besides, many wings can be animated through the Gliders component. To equip the wings-which are useless for flying-use the Back option, which is available in your Wardrobe. This is perhaps because the Back menu has become a confusing option for wings, even though it was designed to equip such things as backpacks.

How to Obtain the Golden Energy

You are still not prepared for flight once you have your glider wings properly equipped. First and foremost, your Energy bar must be upgraded to Golden Energy. Thankfully, all you need to do is eat until the Energy bar is full; it does not matter if the ingredients are random or not-what counts is that they make up a meal. In one moment, your Energy bar will turn gold and sparkle a little. There's a clear button for each platform in Disney Dreamlight Valley that allows you to take to the air:

On the PlayStation, hold down the Square button.

As you fly, you'll notice that your Golden Energy is depleting, and when the boost is depleted it goes back to blue. You can continue to flap your wings and impress your neighbors providing you eat another dish to top it off again.

The wings that can fly include Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Wings and Cardboard Wings, among others. However, only the medium and small ones, like the Tinker Fairy Wings and Small Pink Wings, are capable of performing an animation while flying. Larger pairs, such as Raven Wings and Maleficent Wings, do not have an available animation. Some wings move while flying; for example, moth wings go down and the rainbow pheasant wings are arched upwards and static. You will learn which wings can be animated and what effect they have as you show off your new flying skills.
