Today we will tell you How to finish the quest of the hunt for Cotton Candy in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, so pay attention to what we will explain here.
There are a lot of side tasks throughout Hyrule in Echoes of Wisdom, and these can be as easy or difficult as possible. But, of course, they have excellent benefits that will help you in order for you to fight against the rifts devouring the earth.
Late game, in the middle of the Faron Wetlands, you'll find the Cotton Candy Hunt quest. We're here to help you complete this, whether you need any kind of help at all.
Starting the Cotton Candy Hunt Quest in Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Talking to the Deku with the buns near the Deku Lock Up in Scrubton will get access to this side quest. If you ask this Deku, they say that they found a whole bunch of cotton candy in a building down south. This is the place you have to visit.
This quest cannot be acquired until you've done the quest called Let's Play a Game located at the Eastern Temple. Unless this one is completed, this won't pop out.
Leaving Scrubton to the east, turn south. You will notice in the river, two unlit torches and a massive statue right south of town and your big loop. In the following map, we have painted the exact location where you should go:.
Before you can enter, take out the two song frogs that are creating the rain. You can use your swordfighter form or an echoe if you like. Once the rain is off, you can extinguish the torches above. Get to the height you want with water blocks and then call an Ignizol to light the torches. If done just right, it will cause the statue to shift; you can now head down into the temple below.
Defeating the Hidden Ruins of Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
You set Sparks free way back in the Eastern Temple-they're inside the Hidden Ruins. You'll have to use them to solve puzzles, which in turn will open doors for you without electrocution. You should have the Spark echo already, which you can use to always instantly fill the yellow box whenever.
While the first room is pretty straightforward, the second one requires you to clear the room of Baby Gohmas and their webs. In here is where the Ignizol or a Fire Wizzrobe can come in handy once more. Burnable things. Under the top right web, you'll see a yellow box where you can toss Sparks; this will burn them down.
The next room has the yellow box blocked by bars and a pillar; you'll need to think outside of the box. Cast Sparks to make a circle around the rock at the bottom of the room; then, next to the yellow box, cast Bind to pull Sparks in.
Stay out of the electric shock and put Sparks into the boxes; the following rooms aren't a problem. Finally, you'll reach the boss area; an old enemy will wait for you there.
How to beat the Smog rematch in the Hidden Ruins
Here in the Hidden Ruins, Smog-the boss from the Eastern Temple-has set up house. You'll have to defeat him once again. Much like his pattern in Let's Play a Game, he will break into small, itty-bitty clouds that you'll need to reassemble before you can get to his eye.
For the little clouds to collide, you need to block their passage with boulders. You need to use the shrub echo that takes two blocks tall instead of one since you will be fighting from a side view instead of top down. You can block more space with less Tri energy in this approach.
Smog can be reeled into a full cloud into complete submission by hitting him in the eye, which will deplete his health. While your swordfighter form arrows are your best bet here, I supplemented your damage with Spear Moblins to speed things up. Before he loses, he'll break off and reform once more.
Cotton Candy Hunt Reward Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Head back to Scrubton and speak with the deku scrub; they'll be depressed because they can't have the "cotton candy" they saw. Their hands will turn the Ancient Charm you received from Let's Play a Game into a Curious Charm, however.
When equipped, the Curious Charm significantly decreases Zelda's vulnerability to taking damage. This accessory takes a far more time-consuming side quest to acquire, but is worth it.
