To open the respec option in Enotria: The Last Song, players will have to get an item called the Severed Braid of a Maiden and then defeat the optional God of Strife boss named Veltha in Falesia Magna. Veltha, God of Strife is the final obstacle in between you and respeccing your character. They are perched beside the red combat reality rift next to the fast travel checkpoint along the side of the Thermae Caves – Upper Layer. The boss is beyond the Simulacra of Veltha.
Click the red rift to start the fight. This will be a very hard fight since Veltha has quite a bit of speed and agility. You can also make some Armonia Expansions and Amplifiers from Mercante in Theater of the Masks to give you an edge over her. And since the attack opportunities will be short, a lighter weapon may be better.
Defeated, Veltha moves to the sandy bottom floor in the Theater of the Masks. There, one must speak to her and she will provide an option: "Rebirth." By selecting Rebirth, you are able to alter your character's stats, respeccing. However each respec must be done with a Severed Braid of a Maiden item.
How to get Severed Braid of a Maiden
Severed Braid of a Maiden is a rare item in Enotria: The Last Song, used for respeccing your character's skill points. You will be able to obtain them in three ways, as explained hereafter.
• Dropped from main bosses
• Found in various secret places or chests across the game
• Bought from Mercante at the Theater of the Masks, though his stock is limited.
Mercante sells Severed Braids of a Maiden for a pretty hefty 10,000 Memoria, so use them sparingly. For now, it is not yet known if there's an easier way to get their hands on them.
What I would suggest is to save the Severed Braids of a Maiden in cases you've been losing constantly against a tough boss and urgently need to respec your skills.
