Well, today we're going to learn something quite interesting: How To Get All New Evil Endings in Baldur's Gate 3.

Larian Studios' Patch 7 for Baldur's Gate 3 added a ton of new content, including support for over 200 new mods and a lot of much darker, evil endings for the Origin characters, Tav, and The Dark Urge. Most of these endings are bound by specific character choices and actions throughout the game, so far leading players into a multitude of new playthroughs, wanting to see exactly what was hidden in this game's story. Most of the endings will be open to more than one character, but some are locked to specific character paths or even require you to make just the right decisions from very early on in the game. In such a case, careful planning and choices would have to be made for those who wanted to view such sinister conclusions.

All New Evil Endings for Tav in Baldur's Gate 3

After defeating the Netherbrain in Act 3, your choices for Tav are significantly divergent, based upon whether he was aligned with the Emperor or Orpheus.

If you aligned yourself with the Emperor, you either let him rule over the Netherbrain and you as his right-hand, or try to assassinate him at great risk. Trying to kill the Emperor directly is suicidal.

Of course, the more interesting route is to betray either the Emperor or Orpheus and take over the Netherbrain for your own. This yields further options:

• Ceromorphosis: Take the Mindflayer path and conquer Baldur's Gate with an army of tadpoles.

• Constitution Check: If she is to pass this check, any of multiple endings unlocks such as world domination, brainwashing, destruction, or civil war. How hard the check depends upon how many tadpoles she consumed in general.

After all, Tav's fate depends upon their choices and what comes out of it.

New Origin Character Evil Endings In Baldur's Gate 3

Option 1:

"With Patch 7, each Origin character gets unique endings mirroring Tav's new choice in Baldur's Gate 3: you'll ultimately have to decide whether to betray Orpheus or the Emperor and take the Netherbrain for yourself. Which choices come after depends on which Origin you're playing as.

"Patch 7 brings unique endings for each Origin character, similar to the expanded options for Tav in Baldur's Gate 3. In order to get to these endings, players will have to choose either to betray Orpheus or the Emperor and seize the Netherbrain. Beyond this point, player choices will be specific to which Origin character they have taken up.

"Like Tav's new endings in Baldur's Gate 3, Patch 7 provides special narrative endings for each Origin character. You will need to start these endings by betraying either Orpheus or the Emperor and taking the Netherbrain for yourself. The choices that result will be based on which Origin character you are using.

Options revised to explain the new Patch 7 endings of Origin characters in a more succinct and accurate way; they also underline the similarities with Tav's choices in Baldur's Gate 3 better, putting more emphasis on the weight of the betrayal either of Orpheus or of the Emperor.

Astarion's Evil Ending

Astarion's path since the beginning of the game has shifted significantly. He stands now at the juncture that causes a severe turn in the events happening around him. Though the choices given to select are indeed identical to those provided to Tav, the nature of Astarion does twist this path. Picking the dialog, "Infuse yourself with the power of the Absolute - become the ruler you were destined to be," will allow access to the unique ending for the vampire.

Choosing this option makes Astarion the Sun King, a leader whose vampire spawn go on a rampage with no shred of discipline. They will destroy Baldur's Gate, free of any shred of decency.

Gale's Evil Ending

Like Astarion, Gale will have all the same lines of dialogue as Tav but one differing choice that splits into his one evil ending. To get this ending, select the "You destroyed one god. It's time the heavens as a whole shared the Absolute's fate." dialogue prompt. This has Gale tear open a portal to the Celestial Realm and inspires all of Baldur's Gate to forsake their religions and rise up in anger against the gods. The story ends with him looking into the portal, his words, "I have work to do," serving as a hint of his future rampage through the gods and of his wish to destroy them all.

Karlach's Evil Ending

Karlach's evil ending involves her in full, uncontrollable rage. To activate this ending, one has to select the dialogue option, "F*** Baldur's Gate. F*** Avernus. They're mine now." This activates her unique evil path.

Wracked by the fire of the lower planes, Karlach continues to tear open portals from Avernus, visiting all the fury of Hell upon Baldur's Gate. She cannot be contained, not even by her Infernal Engine of continual torment. In a final act of defiance, she rips it from her chest and hurls it upon the ground before succumbing to the hungry flames of her own infernal nature.

Lae'zel's Evil Ending

Lae'zel has a special evil ending where she renounces her previous ambitions in favor of seeking revenge on a whim. To get this ending, all that has to be done is selecting the, "With this power, I shall conquer Tu'narath. Queen Vlaakith's reign enters its final days." dialogue option. In it, Lae'zel rises onto a red dragon, using her newly acquired power as a means of rallying the Githyanki against Queen Vlaakith. While she still feels the same disgust towards the Mindflayers, she will tolerate them as long as they remain tools in her quest for vengeance.

Shadowheart's Evil Ending

After a lifetime of being pulled between the celestial tug-of-war between Selune and Shar, Shadowheart has reached her breaking point. Tired of being a pawn in their divine game, she vows to forge her own destiny. You activate her unique evil ending with the following dialogue option: 'All my life, I've been caught between two warring goddesses. Time to plot a new course.' Shadowheart lets loose a terror upon both followers of Selune and Shar, killing them mercilessly, and a new cult of worship will be centered around her.

Evil Wyll Ending

Once a pawn under the cruel contract of Mizora and a desperate bidder for the favor of Baldur's Gate, Wyll now tries to make a grab for the Sword Coast. He embraces his dark impulses and elects to follow the route of absolute power: "I shall rule like none have before me, as great unifier, wise leader, and final judge." This decision opens a dark ending where Wyll turns Baldur's Gate into a hive of Mindflayers and enslaves even his own father. As the Supreme Ruler of Faerun, Wyll's reign is a typification of tyranny and terror that leaves no person unblemished by his malign ambition.

New Evil Endings For The Dark Urge In Baldur's Gate 3

Players who completely follow the teachings of Bhaal and choose to make evil doings throughout the game will see the darkest conclusions for the Dark Urge in Baldur's Gate 3. That is, to follow every command given to him by Sceleritas Fel, never to fight off the compulsion to kill, and a victory against Orin to become the Chosen of Bhaal. Next comes a very critical choice: embracing immediate annihilation with your party, or giving them a reprieve.

The first option culminates in a catastrophic ending, while the latter does so in a non-violent resolution. The player character becomes a harbinger of death, killing all in their path. In the final scene of the game, Faerun has become desolate and the player character stands alone on a field of carnage.

The latter is a little more bittersweet and offers relief. The party lives for the time being, but it's insinuated that the character will someday hunt them down, fulling Bhaal's prophecy in one fell swoop. Whichever choice is taken, all final cutscenes are dramatic and fitting conclusions to the Dark Urge's journey, showing the terrible consequences of unchecked power.
