You will be forced to sneak into a seriously fortified military base on the northwest part of Akiva to save Gedeek during The Droidsmith quest. Droids patrolling everywhere means stealth is key. The best entry point from which to make your way inside is a vent on the west side of the building, but leery of a viper droid nearby. Tuck into the tall grass so you don't get detected.
Inside, kill the officer on the left side, then go upstairs. There are two stormtroopers patrolling around in here. You take one, Nix can take the other. Get good timing so no alert goes off. Help Nix out by taking the remaining soldier down properly. Then, go up the ladder to your right side, and crawl into the vent; it should take you to Gedeek. Remember, every step you make counts, so think very deeply about what you are going to do, then carry out your plan with extreme precision for the success of your mission.
Where To Find Gedeek in Star Wars Outlaws
You will be in an empty room right after you break into the vent. There will be two soldiers and three officers inside the next room. Take out the two officers first on your left. Ignore the remaining guards and the officer. Head through the door left of the guards. Inside, take out the two troopers with Nix. Passed the camera into the left chamber, inside knock out the officer, then access the computer to disable the camera. Into the next chamber sticking left head into the turbo-lift.
Gedeek isn't as close as you might be thinking. He's deeper in the base. Proceed to the back room to grab your reward in a locked chest. Continue further on to the Droidsmith quest.
In front of you, take the vent to your left and fall through to use your grappling hook across to the platform below. Work your way around the space via grates and railing to another vent. Take it and fall through into the open space.
How to Turn Off the Turret
It's not exactly simple taking out the turret. There is Gedeek, which means you gotta cut the thing off. Take cover behind the obstacles and make your way left. Jump down and instruct Nix to turn off the energy barrier. Take the lift and pull the lever to bring the box up, then instruct Nix to pull it one more time and jump atop the box. Avoid the turret's line of sight, and use the computer to shut it down. Jump down to the open area and go through the turbo-lift. Welcome to the workshop where Gedeek is being held hostage. There will be a cutscene as Kay reunites with the Rodian. Your next challenge: attempting to break out of this Imperial base. As expected, there will be a shootout outside.
