This will send you on your journey to get the whereabouts of Selo Rovak, The Mechanic, who will, in turn, ask you to retrieve the elusive Atmospheric Accelerator from the Empire. This guide will show you, step by step, how to find this important item.
Locate an Atmospheric Accelerator in Star Wars Outlaws
Once you've cleared the wind harvester tunnel and have placed the magnetic disruptors, you'll encounter a path forward blocked by a high-powered shield barrier. instruct Nix to drop the shield then head into the adjacent vent and work through to the other side.
After being out of the vent, head to the left and climb up the pipes. Make sure to keep an eye out on the fans to your right; when they stop moving, take your chance and jump across.
Once on the other side, drop down to the ledge below. Spin around and look for the node beneath the left-hand fans; shoot it with your gun. When the fans have completely stopped, jump across, heading toward the ledge below.
Grab the handle attached to the wall on the right-hand side and use it to hoist yourself up to reach the grills above. Then, climb up a bit further; head towards the left-hand side until you come across another fan. Wait for this one to also stop rotating before proceeding.
When the fan has stopped, climb ahead and drop down to the lower level. You'll see a hole in the pipe directly below; drop down into this opening and follow along the path as it winds its way down to a narrow passage. Squeeze carefully through the gap and you'll enter a region filled with fans.
Be patient, wait for the movable structures in the area to go inside the wall; after they have retracted, make your way across and take hold of the grill, then climb up. Look at the fan and wait for it to stop completely, then proceed with the next step.
Wait for the fans to stop then jump onto the grill and move left out to the platform.
There, turn to the two nodes of the giant fan facing you and power it down. Then, grappling hook across to the gap up ahead.
Go up the handle to the left and wait for the fan to come to a complete stop in its turning. Next, proceed upwards by going forward and jumping onto the grills above you. You now need to make your way onto the platform that is facing you to the left.
As you get to the platform, more movable structures will appear. Let them retreat into the wall and then make a run for the grills ahead so you will be able to ascend to the higher platform.
Be careful in this phase since there are more structures that may appear above your current structure. Time is of the essence if you are to cross over without some disturbances.
Once you have climbed through the structures successfully, go up the handle and wait for the fans to stop. Then proceed upwards to the ventilation system. Enter the first vent, climb the ladder in front of you up ahead, and head towards the right side's vent to go down to the control room.
Once inside the control room, reach the console and get the Atmospheric Accelerator. It is a very crucial item for completing the mission.
To get out from there, use your grapple hook to reach that giant fan placed in the centre. Make your way through the tunnel, and at the end of it, you must have a way out on your Speeder.
By doing so and moving around the Imperial facility with care, one will be able to acquire the Atmospheric Accelerator to successfully finish the quest in Star Wars Outlaws known as "The Mechanic.".
