Star Wars Outlaws will introduce four different Crime Syndicate factions that Kay will encounter through the actual storyline progression. Interacting with these syndicates will lead you to the Reputation System, complex as it sounds, but in essence, it's actually quite straightforward.

The Reputation System lies at the heart of forming ties with crime syndicates to access certain rewards, such as gear and armor. But one needs to think that disfavor with any syndicate faction puts you in the crosshairs of their Death Squads.

Thankfully, there is a specific way one can best ensure maximum Reputation among all factions in Star Wars Outlaws.

How the Reputation System Works in Star Wars Outlaws

Four are the various Crime Syndicate factions with which Kay will cross in Star Wars Outlaws. Each of them has a Reputation System that includes five levels: Terrible, Bad, Poor, Good, and Excellent. Your reputation with a faction starts by default with Terrible, which improves with the successful completion of missions and making choices in accordance with the interests of said faction.

Higher reputation statuses - Good and Excellent - will unlock restricted areas in faction districts and make your life easier, while giving you access to more exclusive armor sets. Increase your Reputation with a syndicate by deep-thinking the choices provided for you in main missions, side missions, and contracts. Picking options in favor of a faction will give you a nice boost and may just promote you in rank.

Best Way to Increase Reputation with Factions in Star Wars Outlaws

While main missions are important to raise faction reputation, completion of these will not suffice in achieving the highest status with all syndicates. Side quests also offer chances to make choices that increase reputation. However, the most efficient way to maximize reputation is via Contracts.

Contracts are repeatable missions scattered about the map, denoted by a 'handshake' icon. Contract Brokers provide a range of tasks from space-based theft to cargo delivery and even land-based infiltration. Land-based may be fun but generally, space-based is faster and more lucrative.

To maximize reputation, fill in any space-based contracts available, then select the faction to which you'd like to show allegiance. Rinse and repeat to quickly raise your standing with your syndicate of choice.
